Bookkeeper

Parallel Employment is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to support our client's finance department in Darien! This Bookkeeping position involves managing daily financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and assisting with month-end and year-end close processes.

Wage: $20.00-$22.00 hourly, DOE.

Reliable, steady Full-Time work schedule.

Bookkeeper Key Responsibilities:

• Record daily financial transactions accurately
• Maintain general ledger and reconcile accounts
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Assist with general office tasks and answering phones
• Work closely with management and ensure vendors are paid
• Maintain an orderly accounting filing system and ensure all digital records are backed up

Requirements:
• Associate degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
• Proven bookkeeping experience, typically 2+ years
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good organizational and communication skills
• A sharp eye for discrepancies and a commitment to accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
