What will you do in the role?
The Bookkeeper will work in the Finance team reporting to the Finance manager to address the financial accounting requirements of the Group.
What are the key responsibilities of the role?
You will work with the rest of the Finance team together with the accounts administrator and perform the following duties:
Daily capturing of supplier invoices and weekly payment preparation of supplier invoices
Monthly payments of management fees and bond coupons
Weekly assistance with cash management across all bank accounts and weekly reconciliations of all outstanding supplier invoices
Daily, weekly and monthly banking and reconciliations
Manage staff expense claims via email
Raising all expense claims and invoices in the ERP and make sure they are paid on time
Manage MyVision (credit cards) - to delete, close or open accounts.
Weekly capturing of all credit card transactions
Other ad hoc general support in the Finance team and broader business
Maintenance, enhancement and reconciliation of FAR to GL
Intercompany loan and AP/AR management
VAT returns
Assist in monitoring budget versus actual performance
Assist in completing monthly balance sheet reconciliations
Transfer pricing calculations and invoicing
Generating sales invoices

Qualifications and Experience?
BCom with accounting major or certificate in accounting and bookkeeping or diploma in accounting
at least 5 years experience in bookkeeping
Having worked in financial services is an advantage
Having worked in multiple currencies, including USD, GBP, EUR, ZAR, INR
Knowledge of Xero and Dext would be beneficial
