Position: Journeyperson Boilermakers – Fabrication Shop

We are currently hiring Journeyman Boilermakers (employees & DSPs) for upcoming shop-based work supporting a turnaround project. This role will focus on aerial cooler bundle retube work within a shop environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform aerial cooler bundle retube work in a shop environment, including removal and installation of tubes
• Execute tube extraction, cleaning, and reinstallation on air-cooled heat exchangers
• Perform tube rolling/expanding to required specifications and tolerances
• Complete bolt-up, torquing, and tensioning of cooler frame hardware
• Assist with tube leak detection and hydrotest preparation
• Read and interpret isometrics, GA drawings, and OEM cooler specifications
• Work with tight tolerances to ensure proper tube alignment and fit-up
• Perform controlled lifts in accordance with rigging plans using proper rigging practices
• Operate required tools and equipment safely and efficiently
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and client requirements
• Work independently or as part of a team to meet production deadlines

Qualifications

• Journeyperson Boilermaker certification
• Minimum 2–5 years of relevant boilermaker or heat exchanger experience
• Experience with air-cooled heat exchanger maintenance and retube work
• Experience with tube extraction, cleaning, and installation
• Tube rolling/expanding experience considered an asset
• Experience with torquing and tensioning of cooler frame hardware
• Ability to read and interpret isometrics, GA drawings, and OEM specifications
• Experience working with tight tolerances and alignment requirements
• Basic rigging experience required
• Strong understanding of safety standards and procedures
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
