The Boeing Company is currently seeking a C-17 Base Manager - to support the efforts at Memphis Air National Guard Base. Base Managers shall provide on-site leadership, administrative support, and IT integration, in support of problem identification and resolution to support the Operational and Logistics Wing Customers. This position reports to the C-17 Field Services Senior Manager, as part of the GTO Field Ops capability. As the base manager, responsibilities will include oversight of multiple capabilities supporting the customer including logistics support, technical support, engineering support, and oversight of the aircrew training contract. Position is located in Memphis Air National Guard Base

Position Responsibilities:

• Manages employees performing customer support, logistics, technical, retrofit, repair, modification and maintenance activities within Product Support.

• Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals.

• Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.

• Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.

• Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.

• Manages, develops and motivates employees.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 3+ years of experience in leading and partnering with cross-functional teams, involving key stakeholder relationship management

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor’s degree or higher

• C17 Program Experience

• Experience working directly with USAF

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary pay range: $113,900 – $154,100
