The Biosample Manager is crucial in coordinating and overseeing the management of biological samples throughout clinical studies, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines and study protocols.
Main Responsibilities:
• Manage end-to-end biosample lifecycle activities, including collection, storage, shipment, distribution, reconciliation, and destruction
• Review clinical study protocols and support optional LIMS (Watson) database configuration
• Ensure logistical coordination of biosamples and study materials to support key clinical trial milestones
• Organize and oversee sample logistics (cold chain, time-critical transport, storage conditions)
• Maintain scientific traceability by ensuring accurate sample identification, documentation, and tracking
• Ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations (GCP, GDPR, ethical requirements, biobank standards)
• Collaborate with clinical sites, central laboratories, and specialized vendors to ensure operational alignment
• Identify and mitigate risks related to sample handling (loss, degradation, transport or customs issues)
• Maintain biosample documentation (Biosample Management Plan, reports) and support audits and inspections
Requirements:
About You:

• Experience: Min 2 years of experience in biosample management and vendor management or clinical operations within a CRO, pharmaceutical, or biotechnology industry, with a strong understanding of regulatory compliance.
• Skills: Proficient in laboratory information management systems (LIMS) and data tracking, strong organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, and effective communication abilities.
• Education: Master’s Degree in Life Sciences, Biological Sciences, or related field.
• Languages: Fluent in french and in english.
