Bindery Supervisor

Salary: $35-$38

Shift: 2nd Shift M-F 3pm-11pm and every Saturday as needed during peak production periods.
Overtime will be required during peak production periods

Job Description:
• Tidewater Direct LLC is seeking an experienced Bindery Supervisor to lead and support our 2nd shift bindery operations. This role is responsible for supervising employees, coordinating workflow, and ensuring production goals, quality standards, and safety expectations are met throughout the shift.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who can balance people management with production oversight in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and support bindery employees during the 2nd shift
• Assign work, monitor workflow, and adjust staffing as needed to meet production schedules
• Ensure production targets, quality standards, and safety requirements are consistently met
• Communicate clearly with team members and management regarding shift performance, issues, and priorities
• Review and maintain accurate production records and work tickets
• Promote a positive, accountable, and team-focused work environment
• Assist with training, coaching, and performance feedback for bindery staff

Qualifications & Requirements:
• Prior experience supervising employees in a manufacturing or production environment
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a production setting
• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and stooping

Education & Experience
• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• Bindery or related production experience preferred
• Supervisory experience required
• Language Skills
• English required
• Spanish preferred
