About Your Role
The BIM Technician (Building Information Modeling Technician) is responsible for creating and maintaining detailed digital models used in the design and construction process. Produce accurate 3D models, drawings, and documentation based on project specifications and standards. Working closely with engineers, architects, and BIM coordinators, update models, incorporate design changes, and help identify potential conflicts. The work supports efficient coordination, improves accuracy, and contributes to the overall quality of project deliverables.
Education Requirements
Associate degree in drafting or engineering technology
What You’ll Need to Get the Job Done
2+ years BIM or CAD experience
Experience with Revit or AutoCAD
Understanding of construction documentation
What You’ll Do
Assist with BIM model development and updates
Maintain model files and documentation
Support drawing updates and revisions
Perform model quality checks
