BIM Coordinator (Architects) / BIM Project Manager
Leading and highly respected Architectural practice have an urgent requirement for an experienced BIM Coordinator.
A varied role which is a BIM role, split 70% BIM /30% ARCH
The essential requirements are:
• You would have previously managed the digital coordination of consultant models using a digital tool such as Navisworks (software not essential)
• Previously experience delivering coordination workshops to the design team, solely hosting and managing the meeting.
• Experience delivering Revit on a project stages 2-4, within a team and ideally on an existing building (good understanding of phasing).
• A basic/good understanding of COBie deliverables and production of IFC files
• Are still able to contribute, where relevant to the architect and production of information. During the interview, they are assessed on both BIM Coordination and Architecture. Some roles may be 50/50 split between the two, however, we will consider candidates that are more inclined to BIM.
The role will be to assist in the delivery of BIM, ensuring that the outputs (geometric and data) required by the BEP and also interacting with consultants data to increase digital coordination. This role will also involve practice development.
You will be embedded within a project team (assisting with architectural packages where relevant) and be supported by the design group (including application specialists, content creators and computational specialists).
To be considered they must have;
• Understanding of the architectural process and technical requirements
• Excellent knowledge of BIM, technology, software and processes
• Experience in a similar role, including leading digital coordination workshops on a project £48m+
• Experience in delivering software & process training
