We're looking for an experienced BIM Manager to join our organization in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this pivotal role, you will lead BIM initiatives across complex construction projects, ensuring seamless coordination, data integrity, and efficient project delivery. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise, decisive leadership, and a commitment to advancing BIM standards and best practices within our organization.
• Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive BIM strategies and standards across all project phases, from design through construction and handover
• Lead and mentor a team of BIM coordinators and modelers, providing technical guidance, performance feedback, and professional development opportunities
• Manage BIM model creation, coordination, and maintenance, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with project requirements and organizational standards
• Conduct clash detection and resolution analysis, coordinating with design and construction teams to address conflicts and optimize building systems
• Establish and maintain BIM protocols, workflows, and documentation procedures to enhance efficiency and standardize processes across projects
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to integrate BIM into project planning, scheduling, and cost estimation
• Monitor BIM software licenses, tools, and technology infrastructure, recommending upgrades and improvements to enhance team productivity
• Prepare detailed BIM reports, progress documentation, and presentations for project stakeholders and senior management
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, client requirements, and contractual BIM specifications
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation in BIM practices, including automation and advanced modeling techniques
• Minimum 15 years of professional experience in BIM management within the architecture, engineering, and construction industry.
• Advanced proficiency with BIM software platforms, including Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and related modeling tools.
• Demonstrated expertise in MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) coordination and clash detection methodologies
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and coordinate cross-functional teams
• Proven experience developing and implementing BIM standards, protocols, and best practices
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders
• Experience with construction documentation, scheduling integration, and cost estimation processes
• Knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and industry regulations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software
• Preferred: Experience with Dynamo scripting, Revit API customization, or other BIM automation tools
• Preferred: Familiarity with cloud-based collaboration platforms and BIM data management systems
• Preferred: Experience working on large-scale, complex construction projects in the Middle East region
