BIM Engineer

SOCOTEC Vietnam is a technical support platform for the SOCOTEC Group providing expert services on a range of projects in testing, inspection and certification (TIC) in the construction and infrastructure sectors. Around the globe, more than 15,000 experts in 26 countries across 5 continents deliver professional services in construction, buildings & real estate, infrastructures, environment & safety and certification.

We are currently expanding our ENGINEERING SERVICES and are looking for a BIM Engineer to join our growing team and help deliver high quality projects to our clients.

- Create, update and revise BIM Models and drawings throughout the project life cycle;

- Create and modify BIM models and drawings based on laser scanner point clouds and other inputs;

- Ensure integrity and quality of BIM models, drawings and families;

- Coordination of modelling, deliverables and modifications with overseas colleagues;

- Assist in the development of internal standards and guidelines. Participate in automatizing processes.

- Develop and maintain good professional relationship with partners, demonstrate good capability to grow team

- Degree in Architecture/Civil Engineering, or equivalent;

- 3-5 years of experience in a similar role;

- Strong experience in infrastructure modelling (bridges, tunnels) will be prioritized.

- Good knowledge of English;

- Proven experience working with BIM software such as Revit, Navisworks, Civil 3D, and others;

- Knowledge of BIM Automation tools, plug-in such as Dynamo, Revit API, Diroots and others;

- Knowledge of 3D rendering software such as 3DSmax or similar is an advantage;

- Must have exceptional attention to detail; Strong organizational and time management skills;

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; Strong problem-solving skills and analytical abilities;
