AECOM is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented BIM/CAD Modeler to join our Enterprise Capabilities Design Center in Bogotá D.C. This role is pivotal in supporting the development and delivery of design documentation from our design center in Colombia. The selected candidate will contribute to a variety of projects, including railways, airports, large surface buildings, data centers, and industrial estates. The focus will be on creating high-quality drawings and 3D models using Revit (Plumbing modules) . This position encompasses the entire project lifecycle, from preliminary design through detailed design and construction documentation, ensuring compliance with engineering standards and project requirements.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

• Preparing and developing drawings and models using Revit for infrastructure projects.
• Modeling pressurized piping systems, and fire protections systems.
• Generating detailed construction drawings and graphic outputs for hydraulic and fire protections systems.
• Supporting the implementation of BIM/CIIM standards and best practices for modeling.
• Conducting clash detection and management to ensure model coordination.
• Developing drawing packages in compliance with engineering standards, local regulations, and internal quality protocols.
• Supporting the preparation of technical documentation, including design reports, quantity takeoffs, and construction estimates.
• Ensuring deliverable quality through internal reviews and adherence to project schedules.
• Working closely with engineers and specialists across all project phases to ensure seamless integration of design elements.

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma and at least 4 years of experience in drafting and 3D modeling pressurized piping systems, and fire protections systems for infrastructure projects.
• Proven expertise pressurized piping and fire protections systems modeling.
• Advanced proficiency in Revit (Plumbing modules).
• Familiarity with BIM/CIIM methodologies, including clash management and quantity takeoffs.
• Knowledge of CAD standards and local engineering regulations.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Technical or technological degree in Drafting, or related fields. Candidates currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering or related disciplines are also encouraged to apply.
• Experience working on large scale infrastructure projects.
• Familiarity with Navisworks or other clash detection tools for effective model coordination.
• Understanding of AutoSprink Revit Plugin
