YOUR IMPACT

You establish and operate the Common Data Environment (CDE) for Alpha, Proxima Fusion’s first fusion demonstrator - the digital backbone of our engineering and construction efforts. You ensure that all engineering and design information is structured, consistent, and accessible, enabling teams and external partners to work from a single, reliable source of truth.

This digital backbone is heavily supported by Building Information Modeling (BIM), a digital method that goes beyond simple 3D models to create and manage an intelligent, data-rich model across the entire project lifecycle.

You combine hands-on modeling with governance, enabling clean data structures, consistent digital coordination, and early conceptual modeling that shapes both Alpha and early Stellaris assumptions. Your work directly supports fast decision-making, technical integration, and construction readiness in a highly complex and evolving environment.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Set up, structure, and maintain the central digital environment where all engineering and design information for Alpha is stored, coordinated, and controlled..

• Define how digital models, drawings, and data are structured, named, and updated so that multiple disciplines and partners can work together effectively.

• Create early conceptual models and spatial layouts to support technical integration, design discussions, and early scaling assumptions toward future projects.

• Coordinate models from different disciplines (structure, building services, electrical systems, machine interfaces) to identify conflicts and inconsistencies early.

• Support integration reviews by preparing clear visual material that helps teams understand spatial constraints, interfaces, and design implications.

• Gradually shift focus from hands-on model development to governance and coordination as external engineering partners deliver more detailed designs.

WHO YOU ARE

• Experience working with digital models (BIM) and coordinated design information on complex industrial, research, or infrastructure projects.

• Comfortable combining hands-on model work with defining rules, standards, and workflows for how digital information is managed.

• Experienced in working with multiple disciplines and external partners in a shared digital environment.

• Able to translate early, evolving engineering inputs into clear spatial logic.
