Job Summary:
We are seeking a Billing Representative to support the accurate and timely billing of our transportation services. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and effective communication to ensure positive relationships with our customers. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment and demonstrate a high level of professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the customer, finance, and sales, to maintain customer accounts.
• Compile and process information such as shipping rates, accessorials, discounts, and any other charges.
• Ensure accurate billing for services provided.
• Issue and distribute invoices via email or mail.
• Communicate with customers to answer billing-related inquiries.
• Resolve disputes between the Company and its customers.
• Maintain accurate records including customer information, rates, and communications.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
• Proven experience as a billing representative or in a similar role, preferably in transportation or logistics.
• Familiarity with billing procedures, laws, and best practices in the transportation industry.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data entry.
• Strong mathematical skills and the ability to interpret financial data.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage customer relationships effectively.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and integrity.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in the transportation or logistics industry is a plus.
