Job Summary
The Billing Operations Receptionist is responsible for professionally managing inbound calls from clients and vendors. This role serves as the first point of contact for billing-related inquiries, ensuring calls are handled promptly, accurately routed to the appropriate internal teams, and properly documented. The position plays a key role in supporting efficient billing operations and maintaining strong client and vendor relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Answer incoming calls from clients and vendors regarding billing, invoicing, and payment-related inquiries
Accurately route calls to billing, accounting, or internal support teams based on the nature of the request
Follow established call-handling procedures, confidentiality standards, and departmental protocols
Handle a high volume of incoming calls in a professional and efficient manner
Clearly document all client and vendor inquiries and maintain accurate call records
Log and track requests requiring follow-up to ensure timely resolution
Support quality service delivery through courteous, clear, and effective communication
Qualifications
Experience
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer service, administrative, receptionist, or call center role preferred
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required
Bachelor’s degree in any field is a plus
