Billing & Metering Specialist (1 year contract)

We are looking for Billing & Metering Specialist to deal with a range of utility-related issues like meter readings management, issuance of energy invoices, and billing-related reporting and be involved in regular communication with customer 1st level support, partner agencies, and network operators. The contract for this role will be for a period of 1 year.

What will you do:

• Execute regular and ad hoc customer billing printing and delivery (both for EL & NG), perform sample checks (billing controls) on the correctness of the issued invoices to ensure that all customers are billed and the invoices are issued correctly and maintain a record of checked and confirmed printed bills.
• Participate with an active role in the Billing Cycles Management process (both EL & NG) by updating the billing system with all necessary commissioning specifications
• Handle meter readings and metering corrections processes both for electricity (EL) and natural gas (NG) and perform validations (e.g. before uploading them into the company's systems, evaluations of automatic payments).
• Resolve escalated customer issues related to measurements and charges-related disputes.
• Perform and control the process of reimbursement of municipal fees in the respective municipalities of 3rd party charges that are collected through electricity bills and ERT fees; compile reports for the parties involved (e.g. Accounting, Tax & Treasury).
• Provide regular and ad hoc reporting for customers to support the sales function. Provides customized reports to large customers.
• Perform the process of printing and dispatching the issued documents to customers and update the billing system with all the necessary commissioning specifications as described in the contract.
• Perform UAT checks in new system development and communicate to IT and if needed directly to the vendors any issues that must be addressed

What will you need to succeed:

• A BSc in Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a relevant discipline (applied science)
• A minimum of 2 years of Relevant Professional Experience
• Fluent in English both verbally and in writing
• Advanced Software Skills, MS Office,
• Excellent analytical & numerical skills
• Strong teamwork
• Excellent communication skills
