As a Collections & Accounts Associate, you will play a critical role in ensuring predictable and timely revenue inflows by driving disciplined follow-ups and closing outstanding receivables. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys structured processes, takes ownership of ageing buckets, and finds satisfaction in converting commitments into actual payments. You will work closely with finance, sales, and leadership teams to maintain healthy cash flow, minimize risk, and bring rigor to collections and billing operations.
Requirements:
Key Responsibilities
• Drive daily collections through consistent follow-ups via WhatsApp, calls, and email
• Share invoices, payment links, and timely reminders with clients
• Secure clear payment commitments and follow up until closure
• Manage and maintain ageing buckets (0–30, 30–60, 60–90, 90+ days)
• Prepare weekly ageing reports, collection forecasts, and risk summaries
• Identify and flag high-risk or delayed accounts early for escalation
• Coordinate escalations, including legal notices, when required
• Maintain accurate client point-of-contact records and communication logs
• Track subscription payouts, invoice settlements, and pending balances
• Update CRM systems and internal trackers with real-time collection status
• Work closely with sales and customer success teams on upgrades, billing changes, and account transitions
• Support monthly MIS reporting, reconciliations, and billing process improvements or automation initiatives
• Collaborate with finance teams and leadership to align on priorities and resolution strategies
What Makes You a Great Fit
• 1–3 years of experience in collections, accounts receivable, finance operations, merchant operations, or tele-collections roles
• Strong follow-up discipline with the ability to handle high-volume client interactions
• Comfortable working with ageing reports, trackers, and CRM systems
• Clear communication skills and confidence in negotiating payment commitments
• Ability to stay organized, detail-oriented, and persistent under pressure
• Experience in SaaS, fintech, D2C, payments, edtech, or logistics operations is a plus
• Ownership mindset with the ability to work independently and drive outcomes
• Willingness to collaborate cross-functionally and support evolving finance operations
