Under the supervision and direction of the Campus Director, the Receptionist/Attendance Clerk manages the front desk and is the front line of customer service and community interaction for our schools. This role may involve bilingual translation, interpretation, customer support, and other administrative duties.
Attendance Duties:
Communicate with parents, students, staff, etc., in person, by telephone, or by letter to provide information on a variety of attendance issues and meet district and state absence notification requirements.
Ensures accuracy of attendance records, including verification of teacher records.
Maintains a variety of attendance records, schedules, and files (manual and computer) (e.g., contact and telephone logs, student attendance, school calendars, etc.) to provide reliable information in compliance with district policies.
Prepares a variety of reports and written materials (e.g, passes, standardized and special attendance reports, letters to parents, etc.) to convey information regarding school and/or district activities and procedures.
Processes attendance records to disseminate information to appropriate parties.
Receptionist Duties:
Serve as the front line for AZACS, providing excellent customer service
Excellent communication skills, routing each call to the appropriate person to answer
Greet the public, assist personnel, and students
Maintain effective working relationships with other personnel and students
Serve as the gatekeeper to all phone calls and responses
Participate in annual and ongoing staff training
Communicate effectively and proactively with students and families
Ensure the accuracy of the students' in and out log
Contact facilities and operations about all incoming deliveries
Keep the lobby area clear of debris and inviting to all who enter
Prepare materials as directed by the administration
Assists staff with meeting preparation and room scheduling as needed
Uniform deliveries - use an email template to inform staff of uniform delivery
Consistent and regular attendance is an essential function of this position.

Minimum Qualifications:
Familiarity with Google Suite, including proficiency with word processing, spreadsheets, email, and calendar programs, is preferred
Valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
Bilingual in Spanish/English required
ADA AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Positions in this class require: stooping, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, seeing, and repetitive motions.
Light Work:
Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
Working Conditions:
Work is routinely performed in an indoor office environment.
