Job Title: Bilingual Patient Care Coordinator

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Eastern Standard Time, Monday - Friday
Salary Rate: $6-$8
Job Responsibilities:
1. End-to-End Patient Scheduling & Care Coordination
• Manage the full scheduling lifecycle for patients requiring telehealth and in-person care.
• Schedule telehealth visits with internal physicians across 20+ medical specialties.
• Coordinate in-person services including MRI, X-ray, laboratory testing, and specialty clinic visits.
• Handle urgent and same-day scheduling based on clinical priority and physician direction.
• Support patients located across multiple U.S. states, ensuring appropriate regional coordination.
• Assess and sequence appointments correctly to avoid delays or inappropriate bookings.
2. Referral Management & External Provider Coordination
• Proactively coordinate with external imaging centers, clinics, and specialty providers.
• Confirm appointment availability, preparation instructions, prescreening requirements, and required documentation.
• Identify and resolve common referral barriers such as insurance authorization issues.
• Identify and resolve common referral barriers such as missing clinical records.
• Identify and resolve common referral barriers such as incomplete referrals or documentation.
• Follow up persistently with providers and facilities until services are completed.

• Maintain continuity of care across multiple providers and healthcare systems.
3. High-Volume, High-Stakes Communication
• Conduct frequent outbound and inbound communication with patients.

• Conduct frequent outbound and inbound communication with specialty clinics.
• Clearly explain appointment details, preparation instructions, and next steps to patients.
Requirements:
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Clinical or healthcare administrative background as a Registered Nurse, Medical Assistant, Medical Receptionist, Medical Administrative Assistant, or Patient Care Coordinator
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical or healthcare experience
• Excellent written and spoken English with a neutral accent and no communication barriers
• Fluent in both English and Spanish (required)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Calendar), EMR/EHR systems
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic healthcare environment
• Solid understanding of HIPAA regulations and healthcare privacy standards
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with providers, nursing leadership, and administrative teams
Basic requirements
• Must communicate clearly and professionally in both English and Spanish, verbally and in writing.
• Must have relevant work experience
• Be able to submit an NBI clearance and/or Local Police Clearance background check before onboarding [mandatory]
• Must be available for video meetings with your camera on (when needed)
