Bilingual Member Services Specialist
The role of our Bilingual Member Services Specialist is to cultivate relationships with our member practices and increase awareness around company initiatives and services. As a field-based brand ambassador the role supports our members in providing services to veterinary practices primarily related to distribution and category management. We do this primarily in the field, but also remotely with virtual and phone consults. The successful candidate would be required to have an in-depth knowledge of VP’s offerings and practical veterinary experience to help guide our members to services and resources that support their business needs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Proactive practice visits to foster relationships with our members
Regular travel required for management of geographical call cycle
Serve as a voice for our members, bringing back field information to be utilized internally to better serve them
Liaise with members and answer all questions and concerns efficiently and professionally
Provide initial practice needs assessment and support plan to assist practices in goals
Offer one-on-one consultations with practice owners and managers as requested
Develop and facilitate workshops for member practices in both live and virtual formats
Attend conferences and assist in staffing booths and providing live support
Prepare and submit regular KPIs (key performance indicators)
Maintain up to date records of field visits and practice consults
Keep abreast of industry trends and developments
Demonstrate a commitment to the organization's core values of service, care, respect, integrity, and community by incorporating these principles into daily work, decision-making, and interactions with colleagues, and members.
Health & Safety:
Works in compliance with the Occupational Health & Safety Act and follows VP’s policies and procedures
Conducts self with regard for the safety of all employees
Participates in health and safety training, meetings, and drills as required; is aware of safety and evacuation procedures
Reports any health & safety violations or hazards to appropriate contacts (JHSC Representatives, Supervisors, Managers)
Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP):
Follows and understands all relevant Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) with respect to Good Manufacturing Practices

Skills and Knowledge Required
Excellent written/oral communication skills (English & French)
5 years of direct experience in the veterinary industry
Familiar with veterinary concepts, practices and procedures
Extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
Excellent problem solving and decision making
Effective organization/time management
The ability to be flexible with hours and regular travel
Demonstrated skill in establishing and maintaining professional networks and connections
Knowledge of Practice Information Management Software’s (PIMS) an asset
Schedule and Hours of Work
Monday to Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Location
This is a field/remote hybrid position with the ideal candidate located in the Quebec City area.
Compensation
Range: $54,688.00 – $78,125.00
