General Description

TerraImm is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented In-House Immigration Attorney to join our legal team in Houston, Texas. This role is ideal for an attorney passionate about immigration law and interested in working on both employment-based and family-based immigration matters within a fast-growing legal technology–driven organization.

Responsibilities

Analyze immigration cases and develop effective legal strategies

Draft, review, and file immigration petitions and applications in a timely and accurate manner

Communicate with clients regarding case status, processing timelines, and procedural requirements

Manage case files, deadlines, and internal status reports

Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex immigration and compliance issues

Ensure adherence to all applicable U.S. immigration laws and regulations

Qualifications

Education

Bachelor’s degree

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Licensure & Requirements

Active license to practice law in the United States (U.S. Bar required)

Licensed and in good standing with a U.S. state bar (Texas preferred)

Minimum of 1 year of immigration law experience preferred

Demonstrated knowledge of:

H-1B, H-2B, EB-3, and TN visas

PERM labor certifications

Immigrant visa petitions

Family-based immigration and consular processing

Strong proficiency in legal research, drafting, and case management systems

Ability to independently analyze and resolve complex legal issues

Fluency in English and Spanish (required)
