• Identify opportunities for additional LTL and Full loads to fill empty miles.
• Liaise with customers/ terminals/sales/3PL's on pricing and service commitments and shipments of freight.
• Monitor daily status of loads booked and communicate with terminals, customers, and/or sales if moving as planned.
• Work daily with supervisors and dispatchers to meet the daily needs in various areas with requirements on buying and selling loads.
• Daily Westcan Load Sheet. 
• Negotiate rates, ensure proper insurance, and book various HP providers when required.
• Cover the Backhaul Logistics Solutions Supervisor position when required. 
• Cover the Dispatch Customer Service Representative/Flatbed Coordinator position when required on full load accounts and flatbed moves. 
• Cover the Backhaul Logistics Clerk position when required on full load accounts
• Processing Hired Power invoices for approval. 
• Work in the Gore Bay or Sudbury office.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Good communication skills - both written and oral in English and French.
• Computer literate
• Must be organized with good time management skills
• The ability to perform under pressure
• Problem solving and rational thought.

• Good negotiating skills when dealing with outside companies.
