Bilingual Architect Virtual Assistant (Portuguese-English)

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Architect Virtual Assistant to provide remote drafting, design, and project coordination support to our team. This role requires strong Revit proficiency, experience working in U.S. imperial units, and familiarity with Massachusetts building codes and zoning regulations (preferred). You will collaborate with our design team to produce accurate drawings, compelling visualizations, and organized project documentation. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, fully remote environment. English and Portuguese fluency is required.

Requirements:
Architectural Support

• Collaborate with the design team to develop architectural plans, elevations, sections, and details in Revit.
• Prepare 3D visualizations and renderings using Enscape or similar rendering software.
• Prepare and update permit drawings in compliance with Massachusetts Building Code and U.S. standards (preferred).
• Work exclusively in imperial units for all drawings and documentation.
• Contribute to schematic design, design development, and construction documentation phases.
• Maintain drawing standards, accuracy, and version control.

Project Coordination

• Assist in zoning/code analysis and compile documentation for permitting, bids, or client submissions.
• Support in preparing client presentations, proposals, and marketing materials.
• Coordinate with team members via online collaboration platforms (Zoom preferred).
• Track project deadlines, deliverables, and milestones.
• Manage project schedules and timelines.

Administrative Tasks

• Organize and maintain project files, templates, and cloud-based folders.
• Take meeting notes and follow up on assigned action items.
• Conduct research on codes, products, and design references.

Communication & Client Support

• Prepare and send project updates to internal teams or clients.
• Support in responding to client inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Integrate client feedback into design and documentation workflows.

Qualification & Skills:

• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit (required).
• Understanding of architectural drawing standards in the U.S., including imperial measurements.
• Familiarity with Massachusetts building codes and zoning regulations is a plus.
• Ability to read, interpret, and produce architectural drawings with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate in a remote team environment.
• Self-motivated, organized, and able to meet deadlines.
• Basic proficiency in written and spoken English for reading project documents and coordinating with the team.
• English and Portuguese fluency is preferable
