Senior BIG DATA (Hadoop) Tester

We are looking to hire for a Senior Big Data Tester (Hadoop/HDFS) with 6+ years of experience in information technology with an emphasis on software quality assurance testing to work on challenging, mission-critical projects in an AGILE environment.

Required skills

• BIG Data (Hadoop/HDFS) Testing experience.

• Experience with working in a team following Agile software development practices.

• Experience with Onshore/offshore model.

• Experience with cloud based testing.

• Experience with Writing test strategy/plan for IT projects and test status reporting.

• Understand JIRA stories, use cases, business rules, requirements and acceptance criteria and convert them to test scenarios and test cases.

• Hands on experience with Test Plan/Test Lab and Defects modules of ALM.

• Create clear and understandable Test scenarios, Test cases and defects/bugs and defect tracking.

• Perform scheduled, ad hoc functional testing & regression testing, Sanity testing.
