Technical Skills:  Scala, Apache Spark, Apache Hadoop, Hive, AWS and SQL

 

Qualifications:

• Possess strong experience in Apache Spark Apache Hadoop and Hive for big data processing.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Scala programming language for developing data processing workflows.
• Have hands-on experience with AWS services for cloud-based data solutions.
• Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Show strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Display a deep understanding of data security and compliance requirements.
• Have a track record of delivering high-quality  scalable  and reliable big data solutions

 

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Develop and optimize big data solutions using Apache Spark, Apache Hadoop  and Hive to ensure high performance.
• Implement data processing workflows and pipelines using Scala and AWS to handle large volumes of data efficiently.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance on best practices for big data technologies and cloud-based solutions.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to big data processing and cloud infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain documentation for data processing workflows  technical designs  and operational procedures.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in big data technologies and cloud computing.
• Participate in the design and architecture of scalable and reliable big data solutions.
• Ensure data security and compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Provide mentorship and support to junior developers and team members.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies.
