Sonsoft , Inc. is a USA based corporation duly organized under the laws of the Commonwealth of Georgia. Sonsoft Inc. is growing at a steady pace specializing in the fields of Software Development, Software Consultancy and Information Technology Enabled Services.

Mandatory Technical Skills
• Skills:
– PIG, Mapreduce, HDFS, HBase, Hive, YARN, SPARK, Impala, Kafka, Oozie, Java and shell scripting
• Strong hands on experience with Java, web-services and APIs
• Strong understanding of hadoop fundamentals
• Strong understanding of RDBMS concepts and experience with relational databases, preferably MySQL
• Strong understanding and hands-on programming/scripting experience skills – preferably Python, Perl, Javascript, UNIX shell
• Should have worked on large data sets and experience with performance tuning and troubleshooting
• Experience in all the life cycle phases of the project
• Should be a strong communicator and be able to work independently with minimum involvement from client SMEs
• Should be able to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment
Preferred
• Experience in NoSQL Databases is preferred
• Experience to Financial domain is preferred
• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment

Qualifications Basic
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required. Will also consider one year of relevant work experience in lieu of every year of education
• At least 2 years of Design and development experience in Java and Big data related technologies
• Atleast 2 years of hands on design and development experience on Big data related technologies – PIG, Hive, Mapreduce, HDFS, HBase, Hive, YARN, Impala, Kafka, SPARK, Oozie, Java and shell scripting
