Role Title::Big Data Solutions Architect
Scope of Work/Job Responsibilities:
§ 9-12 years of experience in DW/BI, with 3+ years of mandatory Big Data experience (on Cloudera, Hortonworks or MapR distributions)
§ Should have a worked on all layers of Analytics – Data warehouse, Reporting, Insights, diagnostic & predictions.
§ Must have the ability to work on new & evolving technology initiatives using Open source & paid tools
§ Act as Subject Matter Expert and Solution strategist for Big Data Products & Services.
§ Design, Develop and implement pilots with a team of juniors using Innovation Lab as a vehicle
§ Review, Define and Implement for Big Data Architectures for various Payment Solution needs
§ Participate and play a key role in Pre-sales activities for Technical solutions in Proposals.
§ Willingness to travel for short term to US at short notices for client meetings, discussions & pre-sales activities.
Required/Essential Skills:
§ Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to support the Sales team
§ Ability to respond quickly and positively to shifting/multiple demands and opportunities
§ Self-driven, resourceful and build technically qualified high performance team(s)
§ Client front-ending role, should be excellent in Communication, Articulation, and Presentation
§ Should have a strong analytic, problem solving, and decision-making skills
Secondary/Nice to have Skills:
§ Collaborate with Program Managers to provision estimates, define technical Roadmaps and architect solutions
§ Act as a mentor for the Big data team members and sign-off on all technical work products
