BI-Informatica Developer

Job Responsibilities: 

Create, tuning and testing complex ETL processes for large and complex OLAP/OLTP data sets 
Create and maintain Informatica 8.x/9.x workflows 
Create ETL processes from business requirements. 
Participate in requirement meetings with end-users to understand and collect requirements. 
Validate the accuracy of business rules and transformations 

Required Skills/Qualification: 

Informatica 
Strong knowledge of HealthCare industry, a plus 
8.6 and 9.x suite of products 
Expertise in the entire PowerCenter suite (Repository Manager, Designer, Workflow Manager, and Workflow Monitor) 
Conforming and merging data from multiple data source types (ie MSSQL, Oracle, flat files, etc.) 
o Incrementally loading large tables with complex keys 
o Using transformations to implement complex business rules 
Workflow management 
o Designing incremental load logic 
o Error handling 
o Using Informatica to restart failed jobs 
o Tracking performance and job status and job scheduling 
Performance tuning 
o Workflow optimization 
o Mapping optimization 
o Transformation optimization 
ETL documentation 
o Experience using ASG-Rochade is a plus 
Oracle 
Experience with Oracle 11g preferred 
Experience writing complex SQL queries against large data sets 
Query optimization (indexing, partitioning, Oracle configuration, etc.) 
o Experience capturing and interpreting Oracle performance based statistics is a plus 
Creating, modifying and optimizing stored procedures and packages 
Familiarity with dimensional models and Operational Data Stores 
Experience gathering and implementing business rules 
Experience reconciling data output to existing reports and source data 
Excellent oral and written communication 
Self Starter who takes initiative
