Octal Philippines Inc. is a reputable IT solutions company seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our team as a Junior BI Developer. As a Junior BI Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions to empower data-driven decision-making within the company. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about data analytics and is looking to kickstart their career in the field of business intelligence.

Responsibilities:

• Provides assistance to BI team in all aspects of the development, testing, data validations and implementation of the project
• Learn and understand Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence (BI) and ETL
• Gain expertise in BI tools such as IBM Cognos, Power BI and Staq and utilize them on future projects
• Work with the team in documenting project details, workflows, technical specifications and operational procedures
• Continually improving coding skills

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Proven experience in developing and maintaining business intelligence solutions
• Proficiency in at least one BI tool (Power BI, Tableau, QlikView, etc.)
• Strong understanding of data analysis and data modeling concepts
• Experience with SQL and data querying
• Knowledge of ETL processes and data integration
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
