BI Developer – Executive Reporting

We are seeking a BI Developer (12-month contract) to support the redesign and modernization of our executive Business Intelligence environment across multiple companies within our Range group.

Our current Power BI dashboard provides visibility into top-line sales, gross margin, and commissions, but it lacks:

• Executive-level synthesis

• Forward-looking Month-End forecasting

• Profit visibility incorporating operating expense assumptions

• Structured drill-down by company and line of business

This role will focus on technical design and implementation, working closely with the Senior Director of Analytics, who will guide overall methodology, forecasting logic, and performance framework design.

The successful candidate will play a key role in building and executing the solution, including:

• Redesigning the front-end executive experience

• Enhancing and consolidating underlying semantic models

• Implementing dynamic forecasting logic

• Integrating financial assumptions

• Delivering a streamlined Power BI App for leadership

This is a hands-on build role requiring strong Power BI and data modeling expertise.

What You Bring

• Strong Power BI (DAX, data modeling, performance optimization)

• Solid SQL experience

• Experience building KPI dashboards

• Understanding of forecasting and time intelligence

• Ability to integrate Excel-based inputs into BI models

• Strong visualization skills

Nice to have:

• Python for prototyping

• Exposure to financial reporting concepts

This is a high-impact contract role with exposure to senior leadership and the opportunity to contribute to how performance is measured and forecasted.
