BI Developer (5049)

We are seeking a BI Developer / Functional Analyst to join a team supporting our federal customer's financial reporting platform. The candidate should possess interpersonal skills to communicate clearly with clients and teammates. People with a natural curiosity and ambition that lends itself well to problem solving do well on this project. This role is on site in Arlington, VA.

Job Description:

-Participate in requirements definition meetings to support business analysts from a technical perspective, providing thoughtful input and clearly defined requirements documentation.
-Draft requirements, designs, SOPs, training, and other documentation for client use. This requires a good eye for grammar and readability.
-Build new and modify existing reports that use financial, procurement, asset, HR, travel, and other data sources.
-Perform data analysis on financial reports, digging into source system data to identify problems or design flaws.
-Work in a team environment and be eager to learn from more experienced co-workers and subject-matter experts.
-Communicate in a polished and professional manner with management and clients.

Required Skills:

- 3 + years of experience with business intelligence tools or federal financials.

- Degree required additional years of experience in lieu of degree will be considered.

- Experience with federal financials.
- Experience using SQL to interpret data.

- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Federal clearance.

Desired Skills:

- Experience with building reports and/or dashboards with financial reporting tools.

- SAP Business Objects is a plus, but Power BI, Tableau, etc. are acceptable.

- Momentum is a plus

The proposed salary for this position is:
$105,100—$176,700 USD
