We are pleased to invite applications for Sessional Instructors for our Bachelor of Hospitality Management program for the upcoming term (Spring 2026).
TITLE: Revenue Management & Cost Control (F&B) Instructor (Sessional)
POSITION OVERVIEW: The ideal candidate will be capable of teaching any of the following courses in our Bachelor of Hospitality Management Degree Program:
HOSP329 Cost Controls and Profitability in Food and Beverage Management: This course will introduce students to the fundamentals of costs, profit, and managing it to run a successful operation. Students will be required to analyze the need for cost control in Food & Beverage operation and its impact on the profitability of the business.
HOSP424 Hospitality Revenue Management: This course will give students an advanced understanding of revenue management processes for the purposes of growing a hospitality enterprise. Topics will distinguish between tactical and strategic revenue management and will explore in depth financial resourcing tools and techniques.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR SESSIONAL INSTRUCTOR:
Minimum of a master's degree in the teaching subject area or related field.
2 years of Industry experience and teaching the same or similar courses at another BC post-secondary institution.
For teaching HOSP329, a minimum of 2 years of verifiable mid-to-senior level management experience in Food & Beverage operations. This should specifically include financial oversight, such as managing P&L statements, labor costs, and inventory control.
For teaching HOSP424, at least 2 years of industry experience specifically in revenue management, or senior financial operations within the hospitality sector.

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Per Term
TERM: Spring 2026 - From May 2026 to August 2026 (15 weeks)
LOCATION: Surrey, BC: The candidate must be able to commute to our Surrey Central Campus (CC3).
SCHEDULE: According to the courses/per Term.
SALARY: $6,000 to $6,500 per course, per term.
