Cornerstone Support Services is hiring a Benefits & Representative Payee Coordinator to manage and protect the financial benefits of adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in our residential programs.

What You’ll Do
Serve as Social Security Representative Payee
Manage individual funds and ensure proper bill payment
Complete SSA reporting and maintain audit-ready files
Handle Medicaid redeterminations and benefits tracking
Determine room & board rates and create resident lease agreements
Oversee ABLEnow accounts, burial funds, and Special Needs Trusts
Work closely with Support Coordinator, Social Workers, Local and state agency representatives, families, guardians, program managers, and business office staff
Ensure individuals never lose essential benefits due to oversight
You’re a Great Fit If You Have Experience With
SSI / SSDI
Medicaid or Medicare eligibility
Representative Payee services
Benefits coordination or eligibility work
Human services, case management, or nonprofit financial oversight

Qualifications
2+ years experience with SSA, Medicaid, or benefits coordination preferred
Experience working with individuals with disabilities strongly preferred
Highly organized, ethical, and detail-oriented
Comfortable managing multiple accounts, deadlines, and documentation
Proficient with Excel and financial recordkeeping
Work Environment
Office-based role with occasional local daytime travel.
