What will you do?
Reporting to the Manager, Benefit Development, the Benefit Analyst is responsible for supporting the analytical and operational functions of the Organization’s benefit administration systems and processes, involving the ongoing configuration and maintenance of benefit plan offerings to ensure competitiveness and alignment with the Organization’s strategic objectives. The Position will extract, analyze, and leverage data-driven insights to ensure regulatory compliance, support the implementation of benefit plan offerings, and recommend process improvements to the benefit administration process. The Position will provide ongoing support for the annual rate renewal process, serving as a liaison between Association Members, external providers, and internal departments to ensure the optimization and administration of benefit services.
Job Responsibilities
Support the ongoing configuration and maintenance of benefit service delivery.
Assist in the implementation and deployment of new benefit plan offerings.
Gather benefit-related data and generate reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Analyze data-driven insights to provide strategic insights into benefit plan utilization and trends.
Support the evaluation of existing benefit offerings and propose changes.
Coordinate with internal departments and external providers to ensure the seamless administration of benefit services.
Monitor and evaluate benefit plan competitiveness against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and industry standards.
Participate in the formulation and enhancement of improvements to benefit plan offerings.
Serve as a liaison between cross-functional teams throughout the annual rate renewal process.
Identify and recommend process optimization improvements to benefit administration processes and systems.
Contribute to the development of targeted communication collateral that promotes benefit plan offerings to Association Members.
Complete regularly scheduled month-end tasks.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, business administration, economics or other relevant post-secondary experience.
1-3 years’ experience as a Benefit Analyst or a related function in benefit administration is considered an asset.
Proficiency in speaking and writing French is considered an asset.
Highly technical areas of benefit plans, including benefit programs, analysis, structures, offerings, legislation, and administration.
Detailed understanding of Trust regulations.
Demonstrated technical proficiency to apply knowledge of grammar, punctuation, structure, spelling, tone, proofreading, clarity, and organization.
High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office 365.
