Employment Type: PRN or Part-Time

Schedule: Weekends Required | 7 AM–3 PM or 3 PM–11 PM

Additional Shifts: Weekday 3 PM–11 PM available

Pay: $30–$40/hour

Overview

A residential behavioral health program serving adolescent girls in the Krum area is seeking a Behavioral Health Registered Nurse (RN) to support psychiatric stabilization, therapeutic interventions, and medication management within a structured treatment setting. This role is ideal for nurses who value predictable weekend shifts and enjoy working with youth experiencing behavioral and emotional crises.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing behavioral observation, stabilization, and therapeutic support.

• Administer medications and maintain accurate EMR documentation.

• Conduct safety checks, nursing assessments, and clinical interventions.

• Assist with treatment planning in collaboration with therapists and psychiatric providers.

• Support de-escalation, safety protocols, and trauma-informed care.

• Communicate clearly with clinical teams to ensure coordinated resident care.

• Maintain a professional, steady presence during high-acuity moments.

Required

• Active Texas RN license in good standing

• At least 1 year of experience in behavioral health, psych, residential treatment, or acute care

• Weekend availability

• Current BLS certification

Preferred

• CPI, Handle With Care, or related crisis-prevention training

• Experience with adolescent populations or trauma-informed environments
