Position Summary:
The Behavioral Health Counselor on - site work position provides an opportunity to collaborate with other medical professionals while working with individuals. The Behavioral Health Counselor will perform assessments, diagnose, and work with a variety of populations while promoting self-determination and empowerment for patients.

Education and Training Required:
◾
Minimum: Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling.
◾
Minimum: Licensed/Certified in the State of Wisconsin (i.e. Licensed Clinical Social Worker - LCSW, Psychologist, Licensed Professional Counselor - LPC)
◾
Meets health requirements.
◾
Maintains professional license.
Experience:
◾
Preferred one year of experience in Clinical Counseling.
Special Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
◾
Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
◾
Ability to handle multiple tasks in calm, effective manner.
◾
Knowledge of evidence-based treatments for mental health disorders.
◾
The ability to work with a diverse population.
◾
Knowledge of different diagnosis of common mental health disorders.
◾
Comfortable collaborating with multi-disciplinary team in a medical setting.
◾
Knowledge of psychopharmacology for mental health disorders.

Constant indoor environment with occasional computer screen glare.
