Purpose of Role / Summary:
The BDM will play a crucial role in driving growth and expanding the client base of our FX and CFDs
brokerage. This position focuses on identifying new business opportunities, developing client relationships, and supporting the overall strategic goals of the company. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of the financial markets and possess strong communication and analytical skills.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop and manage relationships with high-net-worth individuals, institutional clients, and Introducing Brokers (IBs)
Drive sales and revenue growth by identifying and onboarding new clients
Actively generate leads and convert prospects into clients
Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business targets
Provide exceptional client support and ensure high levels of client retention
Analyze market trends and provide insights to enhance client acquisition strategies
Ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements and company policies
Any other duties relevant to the role
Required Skills & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field
3+ years experience in sales, relationship management, or business development within the financial services or brokerage industry
Strong understanding of financial markets, trading instruments, and industry regulations
Proven track record in client acquisition and revenue generation
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Strong sales and business development skills
Exceptional client relationship management abilities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in CRM and sales tracking tools
Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
High level of organization and attention to detail
Adaptability and resilience in a competitive market
Further Info:
Working days are Monday to Friday and hours 09:00 -18:00 (including lunch break)
The role is in Nairobi, Kenya
