We are looking for a Bartender to join the re-opening of the famed Delano Miami Beach.
Set to open its doors in early 2026, Delano Miami Beach will fuse historic charm with contemporary luxury, reflecting a reimagined experience that pays homage to the original visionary concept. Comprising 171 rooms and distinct food and beverage concepts, the hotel will preserve its iconic walk-in pool and, in addition, unveil a new pool on an amenity deck, offering breathtaking views of the ocean. Delano Miami Beach will act as the brand’s flagship location, re-establishing Delano as a trailblazer in luxury lifestyle hospitality. Ennismore, in partnership with Cain International (the owners of Delano Miami Beach as well as partner in the Delano brand), are currently undertaking a significant renovation and redevelopment of the iconic Delano hotel.
JOB OVERVIEW:
Under the general guidance of the Assistant Bar Manager, the Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests. This role involves maintaining a clean and organized bar area, ensuring the quality and consistency of drinks, managing inventory, and providing exceptional customer service to enhance the guest experience.
 
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to drink recipes and customer preferences.
• Garnish drinks to enhance presentation and flavor.
• Take beverage orders from patrons, process food orders, and coordinate with the wait staff to ensure smooth service.
• Create and suggest specials from the drink menu to boost sales and enhance the customer experience.
• Monitor and maintain the cleanliness of the bar area, ensuring all glassware is clean and ready for use.
• Maintain and manage bar inventory, restocking items as needed throughout the shift.
• Operate the POS (point-of-sale) system and cash register for processing payments quickly and accurately.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures, including completing inventory checks and cleaning tasks.
• Adhere to safety and hygiene regulations to maintain a safe work environment for both staff and patrons.
• Ensure customers meet the legal drinking age by checking IDs before serving alcohol.
• Handle customer complaints or issues promptly, maintaining a pleasant and professional demeanor.
• Work closely with other team members, including the barback and wait staff, to ensure smooth operations and a cohesive teamwork dynamic.
• Any other reasonable duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
• We recognize we are in the hospitality industry and that may require us to provide lateral service.
We will on occasion call for each individual in the team to, on a routine basis perform various related tasks as needed in the spirit of providing exceptional guest service.
