Bartender

The hotel is in close proximity to iconic landmarks like the Great Pyramids of Giza and Sphinx, Dream Park, and a 27-hole golf course. We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Bartender to join our dynamic team in 6th of October City, Egypt. In this role, you will be the heart of our bar operations, delivering exceptional beverage experiences while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and guest service. You will combine technical mixology expertise with genuine hospitality to create memorable moments for every guest who walks through our doors. • Prepare and serve a diverse range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including craft cocktails, wines, spirits, and specialty drinks, consistently meeting quality and presentation standards
• Deliver personalized, engaging guest experiences that reflect our commitment to exceptional service and hospitality
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all beverage menu items, promotions, ingredients, and garnishes to confidently answer guest inquiries and recommend drinks tailored to individual preferences
• Actively upsell beverages, food items, and promotions to enhance guest satisfaction and drive outlet revenue growth
• Monitor guest consumption responsibly and promote safe, responsible drinking practices
• Maintain meticulous cleanliness, organization, and sanitation of the bar area, including all equipment, glassware, and work surfaces in compliance with HACCP and safety regulations
• Process cash and card transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper billing and reconciliation
• Manage bar inventory by restocking supplies, monitoring stock levels, and promptly reporting shortages to supervisors
• Collaborate with kitchen and service staff to ensure seamless operations and exceptional guest experiences
• Contribute to menu innovation by assisting in the development of new cocktails and beverage offerings
• Support and mentor team members, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment
• Attend training sessions and professional development opportunities to continuously enhance mixology skills and product knowledge
• Adhere to all local beverage regulations and licensing requirements specific to Egypt

**Experience**

• Minimum 1–2 years of bartending experience in a hotel, fine dining establishment, or upscale bar environment
• Demonstrated expertise in cocktail preparation, spirits, wines, and beverage service standards
• Proven track record of delivering exceptional guest service in a fast-paced environment

**Education**

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Completion of a recognized bartending or mixology certification program required

• Advanced beverage knowledge with the ability to prepare and serve cocktails and drinks to the highest standard of quality and consistency
• Excellent guest service, interpersonal, and communication skills with a customer-focused mindset
• Strong multitasking ability and composure when working under pressure in high-volume settings
• Proficiency in cash handling and point-of-sale (POS) systems
• Inventory management and stock control capabilities
• Awareness of allergies, dietary restrictions, and special guest requirements
• Positive, proactive attitude with a collaborative, team-oriented approach
• Organizational and time management skills with attention to detail
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

**Language & Additional Requirements**

• Fluent in English (written and verbal)
• Arabic language skills are beneficial for this location
• Knowledge of local beverage regulations and licensing requirements in Egypt
