At Rixos Phu Quoc, great coffee is part of the guest experience — from the first morning cup to the afternoon pick-me-up. We are looking for a Barista who is service-minded, detail-oriented, and takes pride in delivering consistently good coffee with a friendly smile.
What you’ll be doing
• Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and specialty beverages in line with hotel standards.
• Operate espresso machines, grinders, and related equipment correctly and safely.
• Ensure consistent quality, taste, and presentation of all beverages.
• Take guest orders accurately and deliver friendly, efficient service.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee station and equipment at all times.
• Prepare mise en place for daily operations.
• Follow opening and closing procedures for the outlet.
• Monitor stock levels and report low supplies when required.
• Handle basic cashiering duties in accordance with outlet procedures.
• Adhere to hygiene, health & safety, and food safety standards.
• Support other outlets or banqueting operations when required.
• Attend training sessions and team meetings as scheduled.
• 1 year experience as a Barista in a restaurant, hotel, or resort preferred.
• Basic knowledge of coffee preparation, including espresso-based drinks and brewed coffee.
• Willingness to learn hotel service standards and beverage recipes.
• Friendly, polite, and professional approach to guest service.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Good understanding of hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety practices.
• Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
