Hotel Woolstore 1888 – Handwritten Collection, part of the prestigious Accor group, is one of Sydney’s most distinctive heritage hotels. Located in the vibrant Darling Harbour precinct, the hotel seamlessly blends rich history with contemporary design, creating a unique industrial-chic experience enhanced by modern and pop art influences.

Originally built in 1888, the property is the fourth oldest of Sydney’s remaining wool stores. Today, it has been thoughtfully transformed into a boutique hotel featuring 90 beautifully appointed guestrooms, a multi-award-winning neighbourhood restaurant and bar, and versatile spaces for meetings and events.

We’re on the lookout for a passionate and experienced Casual Barista to join our team at Woolstore 1888.

This is a great opportunity for someone who loves coffee, enjoys connecting with people, and thrives in a lively, fast-paced environment. You’ll play a key role in creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for both guests and locals, while consistently delivering high-quality coffee and service.

With a strong focus on attention to detail and guest experience, you’ll be confident working under pressure, multitasking effectively, and contributing positively to a close-knit team.

• Proven barista experience, with strong coffee-making skills
• Previous experience in a similar café, restaurant, or hotel environment
• A friendly, customer-focused approach with excellent communication skills
• A positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively within a team
• Confidence working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and consistency
• Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays
