We are currently seeking a Banquet Dishwasher (Casual). The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates strong organizational skills, and works effectively as part of a team with a positive and energetic attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
Wash all pots, pans, inserts, and banquet equipment
Ensure dishes and equipment are stored in appropriate areas
Maintain cleanliness of banquet dishwashing areas, including floors
Assist with the setup and cleanup of banquet and function rooms
Clean and organize all related work areas and equipment
Maintain sanitation solutions in accordance with company standards
Set up dishwashing machines at the start of shifts and properly shut them down
Troubleshoot minor dish machine issues and report concerns as needed
Keep Banquet Management informed of any issues or irregularities and take corrective action where appropriate
Perform other duties as assigned by the Banquet Manager
Qualifications & Experience:
Previous experience in a fast-paced or hospitality environment preferred
Food Safety Certification is an asset
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to follow Health & Safety policies and procedures
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Reliable, flexible, and able to work varied shifts as required
Must be fluent in English (written and verbal)
Clear criminal record check required upon hire
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for extended periods with intermittent walking
Frequently lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs
Continuous use of manual dexterity and motor skills
Ability to bend, kneel, reach, and perform repetitive tasks
Hours of Work:
Hours will vary based on operational requirements and may include day, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts.
