Banking Solutions Specialist | Profile Software

Job Summary:

The Banking Solutions Specialist, based in Athens, Greece, will play a crucial role in providing consultation and operational support to the Product and Sales Teams. As a Banking Solutions Specialist (Core & Digital), you will need to understand customer needs, and be responsible for providing technical expertise, and presenting solutions to prospective and existing clients.

What You Will Do:

· Lead and mentor the presales functions, setting clear objectives, priorities, and performance standards.

· Partner with sales leadership and the Business Units to define and execute presales strategies that align with revenue targets and market opportunities.

· Engage with senior stakeholders (C-level and decision-makers) to shape solution vision and drive deal strategy.

· Oversee the design and positioning of complex, high-value solutions that address customer business and technical requirements.

· Ensure the delivery of high-impact, tailored presentations, demos, and proposals across diverse audiences.

· Establish and continuously refine presales processes, tools, and best practices to improve efficiency and win rates.

· Act as a key escalation point for critical deals, providing guidance on solution architecture and competitive positioning.

· Drive cross-functional collaboration between sales, product, engineering, and delivery teams.

· Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to influence product strategy and go-to-market approaches.

· Build feedback loops from customers and the field to enhance solution offerings and inform product development.

Requirements:
What You Will Bring to the table:

· 10+ years of experience in Banking Software, with significant exposure to presales or solution consulting leadership roles.

· Demonstrated ability to engage and influence executive stakeholders.

· Solid understanding of banking industry trends, regulatory landscape, and digital transformation initiatives.

· Proven track record of leading presales teams and supporting complex, enterprise-level deals.

· Strong expertise in solution architecture, value-based selling, and business case development.

· High level of IT literacy (MS Windows, MS Office, integration/interfacing tools, web technologies).

· Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.

· Excellent communication and presentation skills in English (written and verbal).

· University degree in Business Management, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field (MBA is a plus).

· Willingness to travel as required.
