Duration: 6 months
Hours: Monday – Friday, 08:00 or 09:00- 17:30
Rate: £34 - £39 per hour

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pharmacist to join our dynamic Pharmacy team. This role is crucial in ensuring the safe and effective delivery of chemotherapy treatments. The successful candidate will play a key role in screening chemotherapy prescriptions, checking chemotherapy preparations, and providing oncology ward cover. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to contribute to patient care in a supportive and professional environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

In this role, you will be responsible for screening chemotherapy prescriptions to ensure accuracy and appropriateness, checking chemotherapy preparations for safety and compliance, and providing comprehensive cover for the oncology ward. You will work closely with the multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality pharmaceutical care to oncology patients, ensuring all treatments are administered safely and effectively.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Essential:

• Up to date GPHC registration.

• Relevant Pharmacy qualification.

• Hospital experience as a pharmacist.

• Must hold a BOPA SACT passport.

• Proven experience in hematology and oncology pharmacy.
