Pulse Nursing is seeking a dedicated and experienced Neonatal NICU Nurse to join our dynamic and compassionate team for a prestigious NHS Trust. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to newborns in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain a safe and sterile environment for neonatal care, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available and properly sanitised.

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and closely monitor newborns' responses throughout the care process.

• Provide comprehensive pre-treatment and post-treatment care to neonates, ensuring their comfort and safety.

• Collaborate with neonatologists, pediatricians, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver optimal patient care.

• Educate parents and families about neonatal care plans, potential complications, and strategies for home care.

• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.

• Adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations and protocols.

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid NMC pin.

• Experience in providing nursing care within a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) or Adult ICU setting.

• Strong knowledge of neonatal care protocols, patient care, and safety precautions.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with newborns' families and healthcare professionals.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

• Proficiency in maintaining accurate and detailed patient records.

• Flexibility and adaptability to work in a high-stress, fast-paced NICU environment.
