Pulse Nursing is seeking compassionate and experienced Paediatric Nurses to join our team and work within a prestigious University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust. This is an excellent opportunity for dedicated nurses who are passionate about delivering outstanding care to children and young people in a supportive clinical environment.

Pay rates range from £20 to £29 per hour on PAYE (Days £20, Nights/Saturdays £26, Sundays/Bank Holidays £29) and £23 to £33 per hour under Umbrella (Days £23, Nights/Saturdays £30, Sundays/Bank Holidays £33)

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to infants, children, and young people.

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care in line with individual patient needs.

• Monitor patients’ conditions and respond appropriately to changes.

• Administer medications and treatments safely in accordance with Trust policies.

• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including doctors, therapists, and support staff.

• Communicate effectively with children and their families, offering reassurance, education, and emotional support.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.

• Adhere to all safeguarding, health and safety, and infection control policies.

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid NMC pin.

• Paediatric nursing qualification (RN Child).

• Previous experience working within a paediatric setting.

• Strong knowledge of safeguarding and child-focused care.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Ability to remain calm and professional in fast-paced environments.

• Commitment to continuous professional development.
