Working Conditions
• Location: Medellín, Colombia.
• Modality: On-site / Presential.
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
About the Role The Backoffice Supervisor ensures timely, accurate corporate filings, client additions, and termination requests while guaranteeing compliance for PEOs and clients. This role supervises the MC team, oversees state document filings, manages registered agent changes, and reviews agent invoices and payments. The supervisor also partners with department leaders to improve procedures and adapt to regulatory changes.
Key Responsibilities
• Facilitate timely and accurate corporate SOS filings, client additions, and termination requests.
• Cross-reference new division partners with state departments and update corporate structures accordingly.
• Supervise the MC team for proper filing of state documents, registered agent changes, and invoice reviews/payments.
• Track cases and task queues to ensure timely completion of additions and terminations.
• Support team members with missing information or required escalations.
• Collaborate with department leaders to improve procedures and comply with regulatory changes.
• Request certified corporate documents and certificates of good standing for licensing.
• Run reports to ensure accurate filing due dates for newly acquired/registered companies.
• Maintain quality control through spot-checking filings for completeness and accuracy.
Education & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree required (Business, Law, or related field preferred).
• English Advanced
• At least 3 years experience supervising teams and managing backoffice processes or related fields.
