Location: Medellín, Colombia – On-site
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
About the Role: The operations coordinator provides administrative and operational support to ensure the organization maintains full compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies. This role is critical for monitoring compliance processes, preparing documentation, assisting with audits, and collaborating with various departments to uphold high regulatory standards. Ideal for someone detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about compliance and regulatory affairs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor email communications and handle calls promptly and professionally, including correspondence with internal colleagues, team members, and state regulators.
• Provide administrative assistance to maintain the organization's good standing with regulatory requirements.
• Support business licensing, compliance documents, filings, and issue resolution to ensure adherence to state laws and internal policies.
• Assist with internal and state-required audits, prepare documentation, and compile data for reports.
• Complete projects and other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
• Perform other administrative tasks as needed.
Skills & Qualifications:
• Proficient typing speed (minimum 40 WPM) with strong attention to detail.
• At least 3 years of experience in leadership roles
• English Advanced C1
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Skilled in data analysis and reporting.
• Effective team player with ability to multitask and prioritize efficiently.
• Strong business acumen and adaptability to regulatory changes.
• Technical proficiency, time management, and organizational skills.
• Highly motivated with a strong work ethic.
• High School Diploma (minimum requirement).
• Approximately 1 year of experience working with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) or related tools.
