Backend Software Engineer

We are looking for a Software Engineer who can contribute to high-level software design and detailed construction phases, estimate implementation efforts, and design scalable, cloud-ready solutions. This person should bring strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with technical teams. They must be capable of applying solid software engineering principles, supporting cloud implementations, participating in code reviews, and ensuring high-quality deliverables through best development practices.

Key Responsibilities:

•
Execute software development tasks, delivering high-quality components within established timelines and following technical specifications and secure coding standards.

•
Design cloud-based solutions, implement REST APIs, support cloud deployments, participate in code reviews, and guide team members on technical questions.

•
Conduct unit testing, maintain documentation, follow development and versioning guidelines, and comply with information security and risk-management procedures.

Essential Requirements:

•
Technical, technologist, or professional degree in technology-related fields, or relevant experience; desirable certifications in Clean Code, version control, databases, or cloud services.

•
Strong knowledge of programming paradigms, relational and non-relational databases (intermediate), cloud services (intermediate), REST API design, software architecture patterns (event-driven, serverless, microservices), design patterns, DDD, Clean Architecture, TDD, SOLID/KISS/YAGNI/DRY principles, concurrency management, and basic DevOps.

•
Competencies in detail orientation, logical reasoning, autonomous work, problem solving, results orientation, teamwork, adaptability, continuous improvement, and initiative. English proficiency around 60% in reading, writing, and speaking. Experience in software development and architecture design is required.
