As a Backend Engineer, you will be part of our Information Systems team, collaborating with functional and technical experts in a dynamic, business-driven environment. Your mission? To design, develop, and evolve internal applications that power SanLucar’s critical processes.

Your work will be essential to strengthening our technological autonomy, reducing reliance on external providers, and ensuring stability, security, and operational continuity. Right now, our department is undergoing an exciting transformation—integrating artificial intelligence into core systems to automate processes and unlock new business capabilities. Your passion – our daily business

You will develop and maintain internal applications with backend architecture
You will participate in the technical design of solutions based on functional requirements
You will resolve technical incidents and implement minor enhancements without relying on external providers
You will integrate applications with existing systems, such as ERP, databases, and APIs
You will collaborate with functional teams to understand business processes and translate them into technical solutions
You will create technical and functional documentation for developed solutions
You will provide second-level technical support to key users
You will participate in continuous improvement and technological evolution projects
You will manage versions, handle deployments, and ensure software quality control
You will collaborate with external providers when necessary, acting as the technical liaison

What you’ll bring along

Higher studies or Dual Training in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical fields.
Language skills are as important as communication skills: you are fluent in Spanish, and English. German is a plus.
Solid experience in backend development (Node.js or Python) and API design, with strong database skills (PostgreSQL, SQL/NoSQL).
Familiarity with version control (Git), CI/CD, containers (Docker), and cloud platforms (Azure/GCP).
Ability to analyze end-to-end processes, understand business needs, and deliver scalable, secure solutions in enterprise environments.
Strong sense of responsibility and collaboration, building trust and working effectively with others.
