Medior Backend Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Medior System Engineer with a strong focus on Azure to join our dynamic team.

What you’ll do

You take the lead in the development of software, focusing on functional and non-functional aspects, and are responsible for the end deliverables of your squad.

You will work in our Managed Services team and ensure that our enterprise customers get the best in class application quality and you deliver with operational excellence.

You implement end user facing web applications using a modern, responsive stack and tooling and work closely with your team: the engineering manager, developers and QA engineers. You contribute to requirements analysis and ensure the customer’s high quality demands are met.

Who you are

We are looking for a colleague who has affinity with technical topics, is eager to learn and importantly, is a team player.

• Min 5 years of experience in a role as Java Backend Engineer;

• Bachelor in Information Technology, Computer Sciences or similar/related technical field, or equivalent practical experience;

• You have excellent communication skills in English, spoken and written;

• You talk Java, you love Spring, you like Microservices and you have extensive experience with integration patterns and frameworks (Apache Camel, Spring Integration);

• You have demonstrable work experience with REST APIs, Microservices, containerization, CI/CD, and test automation.

• You are passionate about embracing AI/ML tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor AI, and IntelliJ (AI) and you enjoy shaping the product or platform’s functionality with AI.

• You are a true craftsperson, you care about maintainable, secure and resilient software, and take an engineering mindset approach to all challenges.

• We won’t have to tell you anything about enterprise software architectures, nor web technologies, because your expert knowledge is up to date.
